The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

A few years ago, someone suggested posting old fishing pictures. I got such a kick out of seeing everyone's fishing pictures from when they were a kid, but I didn't have a scanner, so I couldn't participate. I now have access to a scanner and I went through my parents' pics and scanned a few pictures.

Always a fun thread. The pic in my avatar is from about 1964. My dad's the strapping young 24 year old with the dorky horned rimed specs and that's my papa - Gaston - with the bamboo fly rod.

That third picture -- is that mid 70s? Your sister kinda has the Dorothy Hammill look.

I'll find a few old pics and post them later - I thought I had them on my flickr account but don't see them there. I'll dig them up...although I'm not sure it's worth the humiliation.

You are a brave woman...uh, I mean, really cute pictures, Dawn!

Somewhere, I've got a picture of me from ~1973 with my horn-rimmed glasses and a delicious bass (think Napoleon Dynamite).
I'll see if I can find it, scan it, and get it put up tonight...

Maine, 1965? My sisters and me, one of the 5 Kezar Lakes, North Waterford. Let's see if that pic works...

True - it's more the goofy clothes and hats that I'm concerned about...I mean - we wore some pretty crazy stuff in 1973.

kids pictures are timeless.

All of mine are buried in my mother's albums in Fresno. If I can remember to look, I'll try to dig a few out when I'm down there next week.
