These cooler mornings get me to thinking about Fall which then triggers my thoughts going to steelhead fishing. I will probably start heading over to the Trinity in a couple of weeks or as soon as my foot get stronger. I know there used to be a pretty active contingent on this board that fished the Trinity. As just a fun poll, who plans on going to the Trinity this year?

starting late october ill probably be fishing the trinity almost every weekend. one of the guys i fish with is talking about parking his motor home over there that way we can leave friday after work fish all day saturday and half a day sunday then head home.

Start down river, I fished in Lewiston on Sunday Nada
River is flowing at about 460 in Lewiston and the retoration
projects are making the upper section from Lewiston down to
Junction City a bit muddy. Still early so dont exspect any
big #s but there are a few around.

Thanks for the info. I am still recovering from foot surgery so I am not going to push it and will probably head over around the first weekend in October. I am off every other Friday so I will be there on that day as well. Good luck to all that are on the Trinity.

And so goes the annual migration, Bruce? Is it that time already? Are you gonna focus on those salmon holes along with the bait chucking, lawn chair, toothless meat fishin' gang again as in previous years? Thank god, you don't ask that many questions anymore. $hit, I hope I didn't write this too soon.
