Hey Michelle! Great to see you! 18 Years, 2 Months ago
You were right. Those pictures of Junko and her fish are truly memorable. Would you mind sending me electronic copies for our family album?

Junko wants me to teach her how to flyfish. That morning on the pond with you and Jim really was a positive experience for her.

Damn Michelle! Them are some really great pictures! I can tell this is going to cost me a few bucks cause now I have to get the same camera as you, since my pictures just don't seem to match the quality of yours. That stonefly is unbelievable!

Neal, she is a pretty cool kid!! A new fishing buddy! Jim was "Mr. Patience" helping her unravel some line snarls. She had a lot of persistence and didn't lose interest easily. Send me your email address and I will send some higher-resolution files in a .zip file!!

Thanks Phil..much as I love the D300, I'm going to have to credit the Nikkor 105VR Micro lens for that one!! Well, and the photographer, of course!!

And definitely stay away from that Jims character -- he'll have you all gaga over that full-frame Canon!!

Michelle, it was nice to see you and Jim again.

I really appreciate your style of photography. You have a wonderful eye for candids that brings out the humanity of your subject. I'm no photographer, but I think the photo of Dawn is outstanding. The side lighting, shadows, and soft focus make a great combination and create a super image!

Thanks so much for taking and sharing them with us.

Great report and pics as always Michelle,

I have one of your fishy pictures (that I won in a raffle) hanging up in my cubicle between the pictures of my kids! One of these days my kids are going to pull all of the fish out of that pond before you guys even get there!
This, of course, is assuming they ever figure out how to use anything other than a Zebco closed spinning reel! Justin really is telling me he wants to learn how to fly fish. I think meeting Joey motivated him.
Although it was smaller than we've become accustomed to, the BASH was still a great time. I'd almost forgotten how much I like hanging out with this group. There a handfull of people (and inflatable sheep!) that I missed, but overall I got to see the folks that matter to me. The food was, as always, beyond belief. I only wish that I hadn't left the 2 gallons of chili I made the week before in the freezer!

Stretch

P.S. - You must get over your Nikon bias, Canon rocks!
