Hey Mark and all you fly swappers,

Just finished my 14 flys for Mark’s steelhead fly swap ! My fly is a size 12 olive bead head birds nest. The color is actually a brown olive but I kind of like the color as it turned out. The birds nest is a fun fly to tie ‘cause it is supposed to look kind of like a mess . Anyway, one of our very own, expert fly tiers who was in on this swap (Phil) gave me the tip on this fly and I look forward to trying it up on the Trinity this fall. Thanks guys, look forward to getting what I am sure will be a great group of steelhead flys!

Those are not even close to the right pattern. If I was you, I would not submit these flies to the swap. You can mail them to me and I'll ensure they are properly disposed. I have a unique method for dealing with defective flies....I tie them on to the end of my fly line and pitch each one into the Trinity. Always delivers results!

i'll tell you what, i'll save you some pain. send 6 to me. i will properly dispose them in some concrete. birds nest don't work
