The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

I was doing some searches on a few spots and came across this. I think this was even before my time on the board!

Actually the orginal "Board" was called the "Wall" and you would post reports on it. I guy named Jeff started it as school project at CSUC. I first posted back in 96..dang! 14 years ago!!

ha! well.... it's the board (wall) as I remember it when i first started fishing. I even saw some posts from Ralph Cutter.

All the boards I've participated in over the past years have dropped in traffic. I think people just aren't fishing as much right now with the tough times. I know it's cut my fishing in half!

There is much truth in that statement. Also with the proliferation of internet opportunities, including the social websites, a person can not read and reply to all. I have been checking this board for about 6 or 7 years, not posting much mostly just enjoying the banter, and this was the first and for a long time only fly fishing board I visited. Now I check here, Kiene's board and I-Fish, with a very infrequent check to WestFly, there is only so much time in the day.
