NFFR whitewater release drowns kayaker (again) 14 Years, 9 Months ago
Sooner or later these man-made, "attractive nuisance" flows have to stop.

Last weekend on Sunday, August 29, 2010, another whitewater kayaker drown during the out-of-season pulse flow release on the Rock Creek section of the North Fork Feather River. Chico Paddleheads, American Whitewater, The US Forest Service, US National Park Service, California Hydropower Reform Coalition, FERC, PG&E, CSPA, CalTrout, and all of the signers of that license agreement which demanded those pulse flows are responsible and liable for the deaths. This is the 4th or 5th person I can recall that has died just on this short river section during these pulse flows. I hope they get the tar SUED out of all of them.

My condolences go out to Susan Kaiser's family and friends.
