Have fun Josh!
Personally, I am going to stay home. I don't want to fight the crowds, and since I am currently "between assignments" I can go any time I want anyway.
I went fishing at Prosser on Wednesday, and it was pretty slow.

Unfortunately for me I had foot surgery a few weeks ago so I am not fishing anywhere for a few more weeks. But after I get rid of this cam walker watch out

I did my fishing yesterday on one of my favorite small Sierra streams (the Silver Fork). Caught several, including a 10" Brown. Missed many more--reflexes are slowing down. No one else nearby.
No way I'm getting on the highways this weekend. Retirement is good.

ElRey i would love to be able to fish mid week.lucky for me if i float the lower sac i dont even have to get on a highway. my travel time is about 20 minutes to go drop off a vehicle at the takeout and get back to the put in. if i fish the upper sac then ill have about a 45 minute drive each way on a highway.

Planning to brave the crowds and hit the lower Stanislaus below Goodwin dam.
Should be decent if I can get a toe on my favorite rock...

I'll make my decision Sunday morning. Most likely I will fish the Lower Yuba.

Fished the Stan today and, other than my two buddies, didn't see another angler. I got there at 9:30 and was the first car there.
We all caught fish, nothing spectacular size-wise, but the Stan rainbows are always beautiful.

El Rey, I am all over this. Rather than fishing, I spend the day moving into our home in Sunriver, Oregon. Back to CA till end of September, and then RETIRED!
I'm ready.
