Re:Yosemite spots 14 Years, 10 Months ago
We went up to Tuolumne Meadows earlier last month. Lots of water and mosquitos then. Dana and Lyle Fork are good recommendations. Try to hike in further before tossing flies at the Lyle Fork fish. Gin clear water makes the fish very spooky. Or fish the Tuolumne on the western side of the meadow for your best results or down past Soda Springs. We hiked down to Waterwheel falls when the trails were flooded from runoff and before the high sierra camps were open because of snow. Our day in was met with quite a few packers as they were just setting up Glen Aulen. Check your email for a few other suggestions.
