The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

I just got back from the north fork of the Yuba. Due to the wet winter the river still has a decent amount of water. I spent half of my time in the special regs section below Sierra City. Dry and dropper fishing was good mornings and evenings. The rest of my time was spent upstream of the bridge on Wild plum road. Trout would take either a dry or dropper there even in the middle of the afternoon. Wild Plum campground was less than half full mid-week. There seemed to be few people fishing the river.
