Oroville dam and Feather River flows 16 Years, 8 Months ago

Apparently an accident during a test this a.m. injured five workers at the dam and also shut releases down to less than 100 cfs. Any locals (Troutdale?) have any observations of flows in the river?

Hmmmm, I will have to get out of the office tomorrow and check it out.
How's it going up in your neck of the woods?

Its going well considering its been an interesting Spring. I came out of retirement a while back and now work part time at a publishing company that does six newspapers in Plumas and Lassen counties. I do some photo processing and manage the web sites and have even done a little writing. But this spring I slipped on the ice and hit my head. I was flown to Chico for emergency brain surgery. After two months they decided that wasn't working as well as planned so I had another more invasive surgery. It appears all is well now, but my activity has been pretty restricted. I go to Chico Tuesday and hopefully get final clearance back to a normal like.
How about you? Do you enjoy Oroville? I hope work doesn't get in the way of fishing too much and I hope the USFS isn't making you too crazy. I survived it for 34 years, but it sure is nice to be out!
Take care.
Michael
