Vamp's Missing!!! 16 Years, 8 Months ago

My dog, Vamp, escaped from the back yard on Tuesday, June 23 while I was out fly fishing the Mokelumne River. She is micro chipped and was wearinga collar with an id tag that had her name, address and phone number. I am beside myself. Ruby is not doing too good herself. I checked the Oakland animal services. Flyers madeup with reward, and will be placed on all my neigbhors cars.
Vamp is an escape artist (cars, backyard, tents, trailer) but always came back to me. She is used to being out of the house and sitting on the stoop and letting everyone know she was watching them. She is shy so I can't imagine her running up to strangers.
I need your prayers to get thru this. as most of you know, my dogs are my kids who I love very much!

I have been through the loss of a dog a few times, I have a yellow Lab that is a Houdini, and I hope that by the time you read this she is back home.

More times then I can count and my missing dog(s) always showed up dirty, tired and hungry, but always smiling from the adventure they had had.

My dad lost his Springer Katie for a number of weeks a few years back and finally she was found tired and worn out, but lived through the ordeal. Our prayers for the safe return of Vamp.

A couple had her since Friday night's fireworks. they been calling me supposedly. they called oakland animal services who brought her to my house while I was gone. I just picked her back up.
