I had two nice trips to Utah in 2006 and 2007. The Provo was tough for me in the main stem but I found a small offshoot and caught a lot of fish. Also fished a nice stream on the way from Torrey to the Provo. Harrington Creek? Lots of nice fish, lots of horse flies. Forgot what those SOB's were like. Cast, slap, cast, slap. Slap. Slap. There's a lot of water to explore in Utah. Enjoyed the Fremont River, but you need to fish with a guide, the key stretches are private property. On your way up to Montana now? I'll be there July 20-24. I've been reading reports on line. One shop described the best tackle for the Yellowstone as dynamite and a net right now. Still pretty bad from run off. Another few weeks might be just right.
