The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

The fishing in Utah was pretty tough but I did hook the biggest trout of my life twice on different days but never landed him. The middle Provo has some big fish and was easy to navigate. Perhaps we'll return some day. I know where that big fish lives. The Madison is a little high but clear and the big fish are looking up. Just don't tell anyone. Joey broke his first rod which happened to be my first nice rod. The ole Sage SP 590-2 bit the dust when his dry was snagged on the back cast. I hope we can get her fixed. Trying to keep up but it's funny how my back hurts when the fishing is slow and feels great when the fishing is hot. Will have report when we return.
