Bulgogi Recipe 16 Years, 9 Months ago
For those who requested it after pigging out on Friday night.....plus a bonus recipe for a dip that is fantastic from Curley's Restaurant in the Ferndale Inn, Ferndale, CA:

Bulgogi
5 lbs Tri Tip, sliced 1/4” thick cross grain
Marinade
¾ Cup Soy Sauce
½ Cup Sesame Oil (do NOT substitute with other oils)
1/3 Cup Sugar
1 heaping tblsp Minced Garlic
1 tblsp Sesame Seeds
1 Bunch Green Onions, Chopped
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Mix marinade well. Place meat in a 2 gallon zip lock bag. Pour in marinade. Use hand to mix together well, making sure all the meat is well coated. Place in refrigerator at least all day, overnight is better. Occasionally mash meat to move marinade around.

Cooking:
Cook over HOT coals on the BBQ. Gas grills are not as good but can be used if a charcoal grill is not available. Serve with rice, fruit salad and plenty of cheap beer.

Okay, I'm headed up to Cedar Grove in Kings Canyon for a few days. Should be about 10-12 people there. Bulgogi is on the menu.

Credit to you. I'll let you know how we do. Kados to you I'm sure. I will not take credit for it !!!

CharlieJ,

I'll send Ned around to check out the Bulgogi in case it needs to be confiscated.

Let me know how the river is running, I am about due for a visit up there.
