Saw the documentary " Rivers of the Lost Coast" in Berkeley on Wednesday, the 4:30pm show. Maybe 20 people in the theatre for that early showing. Anyway, loved the pictures of what the Russian, Eel, and Smith were like in those days. Talk about combat fishing. So many Hawgs in the river, some of them almost 4 feet long.
Interesting to see the egos that were involved and hear the talk about the inexhaustable supply of fish. Yeah right.

If you get a chance you should really see this film.

Joey and I saw it in Sac last night. Was very good and well done. Theater was pretty full for the 5:30 showing. There were only 2 kids including Joey. I asked Joey what he thought about the flim and he said that he would not want his name associated with the distruction of our fisheries. I sure would have like to been around in the good ole days.
