The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

I figured I would pass on how incredible the pit has been fishing the past week or two. the caddis and stones are hatching and the fish are looking up. I have been throwing dry dropper combos getting 20-30+ fish every time out(4-6hours), with two hours every evening of just dries. most are pretty small but the big fish like the big dries, every couple trips turns up a toad brown, even got one over 20 on a dry, and there are lots of upper teen bows to keep it intresting when getting lots of 8-12in fish.
I dont know if this is normal on the pit but I can tell you its a riot, I love that river!

i saw some of the shucks this week! didnt see the bugs themselves but the fish will take the big dries anyway
