Look under definitions and regs for "Sierra" and "Valley" districts. I think Hwy 49 is the boundary for Amador and Tuolumne counties. I believe the Sierra District falls under general season limits, and the Valley District is open year round, but has special regs during the "off" season.

I drifted from below Comanche to Mackville Rd. last weekend. Managed to land a nice 18" buck on a black wooly bugger, but that was it for me. My buddy landed five smaller fish, including one that looked like an Amador Cuttbow......
