Bjorn,

The only thing I know for sure is that the Moke is open below Camanche Dam from Jan 1 until March 31, then again from Fourth Saturday in May until Oct 15 with no special regs about gear, but only one hatchery fish to keep. The closed periods are to protect spawning and reseases from the hatchery. The hatchery is right below the dam. It's a nice little fishery with some steelhead and resident rainbows and lots of smolts. It's also popular with bait and gear guys.

Don't know what's up from Hwy 49 down to the reservoir. I didn't see any reference to it either. I think it's pretty much all private land and inaccesible. Dustin is the Amador County guy, and he may know.

Cheers,
El Rey
