Was just watching an episode of Familiar Waters and spent some time on the DVR looking for additional fly fishing shows to record. What else is on currently?

Comcast in SF just made Outdoor Channel available in my package, which makes this available. Just watched tonight's episode on the Henry's Fork, watched last week's Cuttslam. Next week, as Bjorn posted, the McCloud.

There is a show called "legends of rod and reel." It's not always about fly fishing, but maybe 1 in 4 episodes features a "legendary" fly fisherman. Familiar Waters is a fun show, but i'm definitely a huge fan of Frank from on the rise. He's gotta be the happiest person on earth! My brother found a show on his local comcast channel in the bay area that's called 'fly fishing.' I can't find it on my sat.

Thanks Andrew! I just watched the Henry's Fork episode this morning. Awesome. I recognize every rock on the river, and Mike's voice is so familiar. Some nice fish caught!

I live in Oakland and for some reason we don't seem to have the Outdoor channel on Oakland's Comcast line-up. I have tried to find "On the Rise" and had no luck. Does anyone know if this is a premium channel? I e-mailed Comcast and got a generic "Thank you for your inquiry" non-customer service response that you get from most vendors these days.

I also live in Oakland and get comcast digital package. Outdoor channel is on channel 406.

I think Comcast just made it available recently in the Bay Area, as I'm in SF and only have gotten it for a couple of months. Just watched tonight's episode on the McCloud, nice to see that river even if it's just on tv. What I liked was the focus on the cooperation in the area on this issue, as it wasn't too long ago that TU and CalTrout were not highly cooperative. I know that CalTrout's current ED has been focused on improving that relationship, and it pays off.
