I haven't been to that area for a while but there used to be a parking lot adjacent to the county launch ramp that's on the other side of the bridge that you get to by turning off Jellys Ferry Road onto Bend Ferry Rd. The hand drawn maps at the The Fly Shop may have it marked.

The above information is correct, after you cross the Bend Ferry Bridge there is a left turn into the parking lot, launch ramp, picnic area, and rest rooms. If you plan to launch from there and go down river the next open ramp would probably be below the Diversion Dam.

There is plenty of wade fishing, I see people fishing the island above the bridge. The rifle just to the left of the launch ramp also holds fish. PM me for other spots.

Walk upstream on the North (West?) side of the river to a section of wadable riffles.

There a few spots near the Bend parking lot that offer some good wading opportunities. Nearby, there is also good access just up the road through the Paynes Creek Wildlife area.
