Joey and I decided to hit the Yuba since it was such a nice day. We arrived around 2 and fished upstream. There were 14 cars on Marysville side and ATV's tearing up the gravel bar. Joey hooked up and caught his first Yuba fish in about 30 mins. He was fishing a dropper off of a dry. He caught the fish on a PT emerger of his own creation on 5x. I fished on top and bottom and ended the day on streamers. I got a couple grabs and lost a nice fish on a olive zonker. The bugs were moving pretty well but not too many fish on top. The skeeters were out in force since it was t-shirt weather in January. Turned out to be a pretty good day and we stopped at Elkin's in Wheatland for a dipped cone to set things right.
