Fished the mokelumne and calavares over the weekend. The mokelumne was sloooow fishing. Plenty of slime on the rocks. Fished the deeper holes pretty hard all day saturday. Water was low, slightly cloudy and cold. There was one small trout to hand out of our group.

Fished the moke on sunday w/ no luck except for a 4 lb carp. Drove to the calaveras for the afternoon. That poor river needs a serious flush. Almost completely suffocated w/ algae and plants. Not really fishable other than w/ a dry fly. Saw a few risers. My brother caught one on a small caddis.

Would recommend not fishing the cal until we get some serious rain.
