McCloud silted 17 Years, 5 Months ago
Stopped into the McCloud on Wed. 11/5 and found it to be full of silt as was the resevoir above. Unfishable in my estimation. Another mud creek event according to a local PG&E biologist I spoke with. Expect mid next week before any clearing. MK

I was on the river Friday and it was unfishable due to the silt. It is now fishable and wadeable with only a few days left to say goodbye for the season to this gem.

Fished the McC today (monday 11.10) and found is to be sloooooow......but beautiful as usual. Still qiute a bit of silt, but at least thedy can't see you. No one else there at all.......saw only one truck exploring. Looks like it will continue to clear in the adys to come and might be in top form by the close. Rain due tomorrow says the man. Tite ones to ya! MK
