SR-299 to Douglas City, left on Steiner Flat Road (DC Fire Dept), right onto Steiner Flat Road, past BLM Campground, past Aartus Rancg (goats) and to the put-in that's right next to the road. The last major landmark is the boat launch on left. As you drive past the boat launch it will open up to a meadow like area and you will see a tough left into the meadow and head towards the river.

Hud's Riffle

If you see this plaque in the trees you are in the right place. Was to be relocated into a better location but not sure if that has happened.
