We also ran into Paul Wulff from NCFFB as he was walking along the banks. I said hello but we did not chat too long since we were trying to squeeze out the last drop of fishing before departing. We apologize if we seemed short but Joey was trying hard to squeeze out one fish from this trip.
The Upper Sac is a Special Place and we hope to fish it more in the future.
The last trip we made to the U.Sac was in 2005 when Joey was 9. We saw Joe at the Ted Fay shop and he seemed to be doing well. We picked up the baker's dozen on Friday morning.
Flies that worked. 14-16 Fox pupa tan with flash, 14 red copper john, 14-16 Buckskin, 12 Prince/lord yellow biots and I did land one fish on a October Caddis nymph BH sz6 2457. They did suggested the 18 S&M but I did not get any on it.
