Drove up today, you can fish downstream from the first bridge when heading east from chico and the meadow area is open. Everything inbetween is off limits...no stopping, nocamping, no fishing.

The fall colors are starting and it was a beautiful day for a drive.

Geez! What the heck is going on up there? Was this area all burned out during the fires?
If not what the heck is the big deal?
