On the way to or back from the Pit you should hit the upper Sac. around the Cantara loop. Park there and walk down the river about 4-5 miles; stick to the RR tracks and you will make good time. The water gets good down there and you will have all day to fish up stream back to your car. This is a classic stretch of water and you will have good luck with small nymphs under an indicator during the day; when that slows use an attractor or match the hatch with an emerger or cripple. Some nice fish in this area although they are quite educated, it's best to be stealth on your approach and don't make too many casts. These fish are educated, but not to the extent of the Pit. You may have better luck down here. Nufsaid, Pit
