Wow, it’s has been awhile since I posted

Things are going pretty well at this moment.

The quote is a reference to the fact that sometimes your kids turn out moderately well. Mine have arranged their schedules for the next week so that Cathy has company 24/6, and are chasing me out of the house to go fish the Mammoth Lake area with a local FF club.

Cathy is doing pretty well as of Saturday night. She is off oxygen during the day, down to four pills and two inhalers in the morning, and two and one in the evening, and doing her own laundry. I am not quite ready to let her start mowing the lawn again.

You will hear from me again about the 5th of October. Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts, and please don’t stop now!

It's great to hear that Cathy is doing well, your kids are pitching in to help so that you can go fishing. You certainly need some R&R.

I bet she will be as happy to have you out of her hair as you are to get out and wet a line. Thank goodness technology has come so far that you can keep in touch with cell phones.
