Just got back from my first trip to Montana. We fished three lakes (Ennis, Georgetown, and Haypress a private lake), and six rivers (Squaw Creek, Ruby River, Warm Springs Creek, Clark Fork, Rock Creek, and Flint Creek) in seven days. Drove through Yellowstone on the way back. My largest fish was a rainbow over 24" from Haypress. My largest brown was 19" from Warm Springs Creek. Rock Creek produced great evening dry fly fishing for browns and cutthroats. So many places to fish, and so little time.
