Swamp Yankee; Tim S; Magalloway; Fishing Banjo come to mind.
I don't think the trout are anywhere near hunkered down at Labor day, even if you get up around Caribou.
You might try a post on the Main Board there asking about guides or about fishing in that area around Labor Day.
I will tell you what the old Down Easters say in response to the question:
What do you do up here after Labor day??
Answer: We fumigate.
I hope your trip is after Labor day, because Labor Day in New England in general is the Last Hurrah for the summer, and is a zoo in all the tourist detinations. You may find a guide who is happy to have some sports after Labor Day (or not)
Hope it works out well for you.
