The Taste of Fresh Crow... 17 Years, 11 Months ago
The Patriots did NOT deserve to win that game, especially the offensive line.

Congratulations to the Giants!!!

Amazing how Brady isn't the greatest QB of all time when he gets dirty a couple times....makes one appreciate Montana and Bradshaw all the more....

I don't know, I think it's a little unfair to suggest that the Giants won by default because the Patriots didn't play well. The Giants lead the NFL in sacks this year so beating offensive linemen is something they've been doing all season. They got to Brady a few times the first time they played too. The Giants defensive coordinator was quietly saying all week long that they had a few things that they didn't show the Patriots the first time they played. I thought both defenses played really well. That play where Manning somehow got loose and then threw a prayer up and the receiver somehow made the catch was something else. Football historians need to give that play a name like some of the other famous plays in history. Tough loss Ed. It sure was a fun game to watch though.

I swear that receiver must have been a Jedi and used the Force to hang to that ball. Sheer will glued that ball to his fingertips.

It was one of the best Superbowls I have watched in a while.

Shawn,

No default involved, although, clearly the Pats did not play as well as the Giants. Did they play as well as they could have?? We'll never know, just like we'll never know how big that fish I missed last time on the T was....
