Me too. Switched up to Rio Floro and it was a lot better. Kinda stiff, which helps the tangles but probably limits the life-like drift. Course if you're tying knots you ain't gonna be catching fish anyway....
And yes, I went through the whole floro bad for river, mono good thread here before. Me thinks that you can go one or two sizes bigger with floro so not only can you play the fish faster but you are more likely to get your flies back when they hang up....Not scientific, just my dos pesos....
