If anyone was wondering-- 17 Years, 11 Months ago  
Went mushroom hunting at Salt Point, and checked the Garcia and Gualala--
Totally blown, brown and almost at flood stage.
The mushroom gathering was epic!

there was some action to be had. i heard of at least one to hand on the gual. i think that window was shut as soon as it opened though

What did you get? Last time I was there, I was sure I had a big fat bolete until I looked it up. Close but no cigare. Wasn't poisonous...but wasn't a bolete. It went from frying pan to trash can once to books came out.
