PS> I forgot the 1.5 hours I got to wait on a gravel bar in the rain for the sherriff and AAA to get me back on the road. Sherriff didn't want to come for a property theft report, I told him the rental agency demanded it and I was stranded. I love the Klamath locals!

I also don't accept that because the timber industry folded up and left town it gives them the right to break the law, whether it is stealing or doing drugs.

Perhaps you could explain why pot is worse than alcohol?

I agree that there are plenty of poor folk who haven't resorted to crime or tweaking. It's a conscious decision to "try" harmful, addictive drugs.

Actually, my name came originally from my sister, who couldn't say "brother". It came out "Buzzer".

However, when I was in high school I lived up to the other meaning of the name, and my two younger brothers were often referred to a "Buzzed" and "Buzzing". The Natzke boys were a bit notorious at Porterville High School...

That being said, I don't really care if someone gets high. That is his or her own business. I don't think, though, that doctors ought to prescribe it unless it is legalized (at least pharmaceutically). This whole, "turn a blind eye" approach of the government doesn't get it with me. It's either illegal or it ain't.
