In need of Dunsmuir Hotel recommendations 18 Years ago  
On a last minute trip, my family will be visiting some friends in Dunsmuir for a few nights. Dec 26th through Dec 30th??? Any hotel recommendations?

Claudia, I've had good luck going thru these people http://www.cavesprings.com/

Particularly their lil stone cottages down by the river http://www.castlestoneinn.net/

They're not really cheap, but are historic, have a full kitchen and can sleep a whole family. There are 3 of them in a lil compound. They're not right in town, but closer to Castle Crag Park.

within a walk of the Upper Sac.

Lake Siskiyou Campground has some nice cabins,
and you could fish the upper sac right there,

Thanks so much! We got a last minute cancellation on a VRBO. My hubby doesn't know it, but we are in for Feb!
