I saw this and thought it might be good to pass along.

Judge extends YOUR RIGHT to speak up for salmon and steelhead
"We can do better." - U.S. District Judge James A. Redden, last week,
reacting to federal agencies' third try at a legal plan for
Columbia-Snake Basin salmon and steelhead recovery. The Court has
rejected the previous two plans as inadequate and illegal.
Judge Redden last week also extended the deadline for public comment by
three weeks, giving TU members who haven't commented already another
chance at letting Judge Redden and NOAA Fisheries know we agree - we CAN
do better, and we must - before the plan becomes final in March. The
gridlock and waste that has plagued the recovery effort for these fish
has got to end now, before it is too late to recover these iconic salmon
and steelhead runs.

Please visit our online action center before January 4, 2008 and tell
NOAA Fisheries that you demand a better plan for the recovery of
Columbia-Snake River salmon and steelhead, one that includes all
recovery options available, including lower Snake River dam removal.
Thank You,
