Rio tippet restraints 17 Years, 5 Months ago  
I heard Rio discontinued their "LeStrap" tippet restraints lately. I'm not sure if they discontinued all sizes or just the sizes that don't fit Rio spools. Anyway, I need to find some in the small size for Climax spools. Anyone know where I might pick some up? I have the Mayfly restraints and really like those for normal size tippet spools but the little wooden nuts on the end are too wide to use with Climax spools. Thanks!

The kind shown in the picture from Kaufmann's could easily be made. Got a bead store anywhere near you?? Can get elastic at any fabric store. Just a thought.

My local fabric store has tons of different size elastic. You should be able to find something to fit your spools. Bring one in with you and try out the width you need.
Last time I needed a long piece of round 1/4 inch elastic for my net, they even had that. Good luck
