An friend forwarded a link to a Fly Fishing Internet Radio site, Ask about Fly Fishing. It is a pretty cool website with a number of internet radio webcasts with noteable fly fisherman and tiers. I just listened to the interview with Dr. Thomas Whiting, Owner of Whiting Farms. In this interview he discusses what it takes to grow fancy chicken feathers for fly tying and some of the history behind the genetic hackle business. Pretty fascinating stuff.

There are also a number of other interviews with the likes of Mike Lawson, Kelly Galloup, Ken Hanley, Lori-Ann Murphy and many others.

I second Phil's endorsement of this site. I downloaded several podcasts of past shows which I listened to while I was on my way to, and traveling around Montana this last summer. Entertaining, engaging and informative. I highly recommend it.
