well, the old Simms Guide Camo waders finally took a final trip. Lent them to my brother for a trip to Washington.......he took them over to the Ca. coast for a little surf fishing before heading to Washington. Seems the waders and bag never made the entire trip, falling out of a motorhome storage area.
Simms G3 were on sale at kiene's (naturally not in my size), so I settled on Pats this time around. Sent them off with the brother for his trip to Washington....made it home safe this time.

I remember those...weren't they a "one of a kind" sort of thing that you somehow got? My G3 waders have been going strong...will probably need to wader shop next season...it's not the age - just the mileage.

I've often wondered why they don't make camo waders for fishing. Heck, they even make a whole line of fishing camoflauge shirts and such, but you can't even find a set of breathables in camo. Seems like that's the first thing the fish would see, too. Am I the only one who thinks this is odd?
