FYI: Follow link below for article in recent Fish Farming Int'l magazine decribing new technique to breed trout from salmon. The goal, from a fish farming perspective is to eventually breed sushi-grade tuna from mackrel. But, this technique could be useful in saving endangered trout and salmon species.
