Fishing Near Alturas? 17 Years, 7 Months ago

Hi guys,
I'm going up to Alturas for about a week and was wondering if anybody has any experience with fishing up there.
I see that the Pit flows through town, but haven't been able to dig up any info on fishing there. I've also heard of some creeks nearby.
Anyone spent much time up there?

The Warners are fantastic.
North check out Cave and Lilly Lakes & Davis Creek.
South Blue Lake and the Pine Creek basin.
Of course there are other great places to fish in the Warners. But if I told you I would have to have you killed.

Thanks for the tip Dick. I made my way out to Blue Lake - beautiful! I noticed a good looking stream on the way up to the lake and gave that a try. 9 wild 'bows, all 10"-12", on a Parachute Adams in about an hour!
