Lies, deception, scandal!!!!!! 17 Years, 5 Months ago

It is with great disgust that I must report to you, what may be the greatest scandal in NCFFB history!
I personally wittessed this event myself on the lower Feather River at of all places what is now known as the NCFFB riffle.
There in broad day light at 7:45am I saw "The Keeper of The Light" aka the "The Shepherd" indicator nymphing.
As a matter of fact I think the bright orange indicator was one of the biggest I have seen used.
To make things even worse it actually appeared that he was not very good at it, as he did not even get one strike in the time I was watching him.
To add insult to injury I noticed a disgarded styrofoam worm container on the bank near by. I can not say that worms were actually on his hook but based on the seriousness of the charges I do believe there should be an investigation.
It is with great sadness that I report this disgusting event. I sincerley hope that these circunstances do not stain our great forum for years to come.

Have faith, The_Keeper_of_the_Light was obviously demonstrating the truth of his tirade against Flyfishing Fraud and Deception, giving proof that the use of bobbers is ineffective...what can be more proof than not getting even one strike?

I'm not surprised there was a worm container on the shore. Shepherd is one of the greats at baiting.
As to Shep bobicating, I believe he subscribes to the belief that if a tree falls and no one is there to witness it, it makes no sound. Therefore, had TD NOT seen him 'cator fishing, Shep would not have been guilty of that transgression.
Hmmmm, it depends on what your definition of "is" is.

I also heard he had a whitewater kayak pulled up onto the bank as well. Additionally, I heard another rumor has it he was going to return his perfectly good waders to the fly shop after he used them. Any truth to this?
