I recently found a rod tip on the cantarra loop. It has a blank # printed in a metallic silver pen with a guide alignment dot on it (winston rod?).

It is a Winston Rod Tip from a 4 - piece rod.

Tom, you could contact Winston with the serial # and see if they have a record of who owns that rod.
