The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

Hi Folks,

I had recently posted an invitation on the board here to folks in the Sacramento area to come down and see us in a CD release concert in Sacramento this coming Saturday. Well I have bad news but also good news tonight! Western Lights will be postponing our CD release concert that we had scheduled for this Saturday June 28th at the 5th String Music Store in Sacramento. Gene Mason our wonderful friend, bandmate, and terrific banjo player had to undergo emergency open heart surgery tonight !

Praise God however in that Gene came through the surgery fine and is now in the recovery room ! I dont know much more of any details than that. Please keep Gene and his wife Marilyn in your prayers for continued recovery. Hopefully we can reschedule our event in the next month or so.
