Hey Phil,
I was out on the lower American Friday evening for a quick little float in my kayak looking for stripers and wish I would have had one of those little guys to toss
. I saw one fish come to the surface but couldnt entice anything to hit my pencil popper I was tossing. I typically use the pencil popper with my casting rod while floating to try to find a school of fish and then switch over to the fly rod. It was good to just get out anyway.
