The latest I heard was in an email from the Foothill Conservancy the other day. EBMUD wants to build another dam down stream from the current Pardee Dam that will impound a whole lot more water (as in flood the Middle Bar stretch of the Moke).
Possibly even a new Highway 49 bridge... They are also pursuing the idea of raising Lower Bear Dam. There is supposed to be a meeting open to the general public in Oakland some time soon.
