what an awesome group of people we have here, we are so bummed we could not make the Bash but
Melissa' health was not good enough to go. She is currently back at UC Davis getting more
treatment ...She sends her love !
I just cannot put into words the way we feel about all the support and well wishes we have
received from our fishing family...You are all top notch in my book and I can only look toward
the future fishing and socializing with everyone around the campfire.
It sounds as though the Bash was as always a ton of fun with way to much food and good times
and you did the raffle for my family ....just more proof of the caliber of the people that
make the NCFFB what it is ! I feel so fortuate to be a part of it and to have had so many
good times because of it...lets not loose what we have here over trivial matters, life is just
too short !

Hey Mark,

You are correct, it really is an awesome group of people on this board . You can take it to the bank that there are lots of prayers being said for Melissa. We all look forward to seeing you both over this health problem she has and back to a normal life.

Dana and I did not make it up there year either because of the tradition we have of always going to the Fathers Day Bluegrass Festival in Grass Valley but we'll be back next time for sure. Even though we couldn't be there this year we really enjoyed participating in the raffle in a small way with the benefits going to such an important cause. I know everybody involved felt that way.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you both and we look forward to seeing you both at the next bash.

We missed you at the Bash but completely understand the difficulties. I did kind of half-way expect (hoped) you to pop in, though.

The "Package" is on its way and you should get it by Saturday. We all wish there was more we could do.

I think when this situation calms down I need to get back to tieing ...maybe a swap will be
a good way to get back in the swing of things.

That would be great to see you at the next Bluegrass Festival. The Grass Valley Fathers Day Festival one of the premier festivals on the West Coast. Hope you enjoy listening to our bands latest CD which Buzz will be sending you. Between the two of us we decided you needed to win one of the three CD's that were to be in the raffle .
