The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

I have a question for the moderators and steering committee. Have you guys considered breaking the campfire out into 2 sections or just adding another appropriately named forum. In light of all the recent issues, it seems like it might be a good idea to have a forum for everything that is about fishing and then another forum for everything else. Then all the rants and raves could not be included in the fishing forum. In setting it up this way it might make it easier for those of us who don't care as much about the rants and raves to stay away from them as Bjorn mentioned. It seems like this type of solution might work for the people that have been talking about leaving the board. This board is such a great resource it seems a shame to lose good people.

Not sure how difficult this is, but just an idea.

That has been suggested and is on the list for consideration. We have a steering committee meeting scheduled for Saturday morning at the Bash and will be discussing this idea, as well as others. Anyone interested in sitting on on this meeting is welcome, as all know, we've had lots of "stuff" on the board recently and some of it don't smell too good. Your idea is a good one, and is easily incorporated if that is the desire of the group.
