Upper Sac and McCloud Flows ... 18 Years, 2 Months ago  
Leaving on Sat. gonna meander my way to the bash. Will be spending a couple of days in Shasta area. I hear PGE is messing with the McCloud flows and warmer weather may increase melt on Upper Sac. Anyone have a go to site where one can get fresh info on flows over there. Thanx.

Trout Underground said the Mac flows have settled down, should be fishing just fine. Also heard that after the higher flows the bugs were just exploding.

I believe in the same posting he said the USac was dropping into prime shape as well... quoted Bob from Ted Fay's about this being the time to be on the water.

Fished the USac below Sims last Wed\Fri high flows not many Stones.Thurs McCloud was awesome, flows perfect fished all day with a #12 adams and Stimi. Saw 2 bears ...must of been the aftershave.

I just spoke to the Fly Shop and Ted Faye's. Both said the USac and McCloud looked good. I'm headed up Thurs-Sun and will post when I get back.
