The Northern California Fly Fishing Board

1) I remember when someone recommended that ads be place at the top of the board like *an *lanton's site, and the moderators said that would never happen because it would slow the sh** out of the board. Now this board is as fast as a bicycle compared to a Ferrari. Pretty sad. And it seems to get as many posts in a week as it used to in a day. Not that I am counting posts.

2) It seemed that most of the people from the "other" board (the "others", like in "Lost"?) were best friends with GM. One person in particuliar was always being complained about and people wanted him banned, but GM stood up for him because they were good friends? Now this person has just left after all that GM has stood up for him?

3) For those that are bitching about not being on the new board, go make your own board and invite people to it and make it private. Then when someone you dont like wants a invite you will be sympathetic to the "others".

Why are you stirring it up more when you know absolutely nothing about either of the boards in question. There seems to be an idea that there is a competition between the two and that is so false as to be laughable. Those who think so need to reassess their perceptions because they're wrong. Yes, people have left this board and do post on the other board, but also many have not left this board. Why are you trying to drive a split between the two and making factions that don't exist in some small people's minds?
